Wings and Waves Birding Festival
September 4, 2010. This family friendly, fun-filled event boasts kayak birding trips, a bird count contest, silent auctions, lectures from world renowned nature experts, the building of the world's largest birds nest and much, much more!
Summer SunSets
Sept 11 & 25, 2010. Lincoln City's Summer SunSets features live music just off of the beach in the Historic Taft District of Lincoln City.
Beginning at 6PM on each Saturday, this event features local talent performing through sunset.
Surf City Classic Car Show
September 18 & 19. Classic Car Show at Chinook Winds Casino Resort.
Show includes beer and wine garden, live music, and food.
Beach Bark
October 2. Pet beach walk starting at Chinook Winds and ending at SW 51st Street with a BBQ. Part pet parade, part beach clean-up, part leisurely Saturday stroll, this fund raiser will benefit pets in need on the Oregon Coast.
Fall Kite Festival
October 9 & 10. Enjoy demonstrations by expert fliers, kid's kite making, Rok Battle, raffles, kid's parade, and more fun in the sand.
Glass Floats - Finders Keepers
Mid-October to Memorial Day. Hand-crafted glass floats being placed along the 7-1/2 miles (12 km) of public beach in Lincoln City, from the Roads End area to the Cutler City area. You find it, you keep it! Floats may be found above the high tide line and below the beach embankment. Floats will not be found in or on the cliffs. Please be aware of beach safety. Never turn your back on the ocean.
Seafood and Chowder Cook-Off
November 13. At the Culinary Center in Lincoln City from 11 AM - 2 PM. Enjoy live cooking competitions, people's Choice, food vendors and more! Admission is free with tasting-sized portions available for a small fee.
