General Hotel Information
Where are you located? Are you on the ocean? Pelican Shores Inn is an oceanfront hotel in a quiet neighborhood at the North end of Lincoln City. Our rooms have panoramic oceanfront views, and the hotel is steps from the sand.
What are your office hours? The office is open 8:00 a.m. – 10:00 p.m. each day.
Is someone available after office hours? If you have an urgent need or an emergency after hours, there is always a staff member available to assist. Dial 0 from your room or call 541-994-2134 to reach an employee after hours.
What are your check-in and check-out times? Check-in is at 4 p.m. and Check-out is 11 a.m. The hotel office closes at 10 p.m. If you are going to arrive after 10 p.m., please call us at 541-994-2134 to make arrangements.
Do you provide daily housekeeping service? The quality of your stay will be ensured by our fine staff. Daily housekeeping service is available 9 a.m. – 3 p.m. We are always happy to deliver fresh towels and additional amenities as needed during your stay.
Do you offer breakfast? Mornings begin with a light, complimentary continental breakfast in the lobby, 8:00 a.m. – 10:00 a.m. Breakfast includes muffins, bagels, pastries, hot and cold cereal, yogurt, cheese sticks, fruit juice, hot tea, and freshly brewed coffee.
Is parking available? Complimentary parking is available onsite for hotel guests. Guests may have one car per room, except those staying in the Two Bedroom Suite are allowed two cars.
Do you have a pool? We have an indoor, heated pool that is a comfortable 85 degrees.
Do you have direct beach access? Yes, we have direct access to miles of sandy beach. It is 49 steps from the lower level to the sand.
Do you have beach blankets and beach toys? We have beach blankets, a collection of beach toys for guests to borrow.
Reservations and Policies
How old do you need to be to reserve a room? To reserve a hotel room guests must be 21 years old.
Do you need a credit card to reserve a room? Is the card charged at the time of reservation? All reservations require a credit card to guarantee. The card is held and isn’t charged until your day of arrival.
What is your cancellation policy? We require 72 hours’ notice to cancel. If the cancellation is made with less than 72 hours’ notice, we will charge for the first night of the stay. During holiday time periods and special events, we require two weeks’ notice.
Do you have any specials or packages? We have both. We offer specials throughout the year. Sign up for our mailing list to be the first to know – Stay In the Know. We have two wonderful packages, the Northwest Snack Package and the Romance Package – Visit Special Offers for more information.
Rooms and Suites
Are your rooms non-smoking? All of our rooms and decks are non-smoking. Guests will be charged a $200 fee if they smoke in a room.
Do you have family rooms? We offer a variety of wonderful family-friendly suites, including one-bedroom options with multiple bed configurations for 4–6 guests, as well as a spacious two-bedroom suite featuring a full kitchen and 1.5 baths.
Do your rooms have balconies? Yes, most of our oceanfront rooms and suites have a patio or balcony where guests can relax and watch the ocean waves.
Do your rooms have kitchens? All of our rooms have refrigerators, microwaves, and coffee makers. All of the One Bedroom and Fireplace Suites have kitchens with a sink, cooktop, utensils, dishes, bowls, and pots and pans. The Two Bedroom Suite has a full kitchen.
Do you provide coffee in the rooms? All of the rooms include complimentary coffee from a local company, Left Coast Coffee. One coffee packet is provided daily. It will make a full-sized pot of coffee. Decaf packets are available.
Visiting Lincoln City
Are fires allowed on the beach? Fires are permitted on Oregon beaches. All fires must abide by the Oregon Coast state parks guidelines – Oregon Shore State Recreation Area. During very dry periods fires may be banned.
What will happen in the event of a Tsunami? In the event of a tsunami, sirens will sound. If you hear the sirens, follow the posted tsunami evacuation signs to higher ground. There is a weekly tsunami warning system test on Wednesday. During that time the siren will only go for 20 seconds.
